During my graduation internship at Orangebite we created a content platform in J2ME. The application was just ahead of it’s time, creating an actual app on dumb phones such as the famous Nokia 3310. We encountered a lot of fun challenges, and it was a great learning experience for the whole company.

You can find the demo website we created for the European soccer championship here.
The website has been taken down recently.

Sadly the demo on the website uses a Java Applet to emulate a J2ME environment. Since Java Applets aren’t working in a lot of modern browsers, I converted the J2ME application to a Windows binary/emulator for you to check out. Just download the zip, extract and run the executable!
